“I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for the opportunities the library gave me.”
― Alan Moore
CALLING ALL KIDS! Read your comics and then submit your “book report” to us and we will send you your choice of ONE free copy of THE CREATURE ACADEMY illustrated by Kevin Konrad Hanna, a copy of WAYFARER’S MOON, or a signed ADVENTURE TIME: PLAYING WITH FIRE softcover courtesy of BOOM! Studios! Alternatively, you may select from an assortment of STAR TREK graphic novels courtesy of CBS Television Distribution! Advanced Readers may choose the WOLVERINE:THE JUNGLE ADVENTURE softcover as a prize!
Here’s how it works:
Anyone from anywhere in the United States can read their comics and then submit as many separate “book reports” as they want. Any comics published, in any genre, may qualify as good source material.
We will read all submissions and pick the ones we liked the best and send the winner their “prize” in the mail! No shipping costs at all for you or parents! No charges at all in any way!
What kinds of “book reports” are we looking for?
We don’t care what you choose or whether you loved or hated it; what we care about is what you have to say about it!!
So whether you were Moved by Motives, Enlightened by an Epiphany, Duped by a Development, Outraged by an Occurrence, Intrigued by a Ingenue, or Confused by a Conundrum, tell us what got your attention and why!
We’re open to pretty much any response that follows the general guidelines found here:

Before being published, your submission will be reviewed. It will be checked to see that it does not contain any inappropriate language. By sending us your work, you are giving Comics4Kids INC permission to edit, promote, and put up on comics4kidsinc.org
However, just in case lots of students send us work, we may not be able to publish all of the work that we receive. Thank you!
How can Parents, Teachers, and children use this challenge?
If you’re looking to add more time with your children, we think this is a pretty easy way to do it.
And, since kids can choose from anything at all published in a comic book, EVER, it’s also an easy way to encourage them to find and follow their own interests and passions!
Please post any questions to our CONTACT page and we’ll answer you soon.
